Tomorrow is an opportunity not a promise
Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but…
The reality, that by the time tomorrow finally arrives it’s already today, so I can only look forward to tomorrow again, is one of the biggest helps to my psyche.
I know that tomorrow is a day that I will only ever dream about but the opportunity to dream leaves me in awe and gratitude.
If it’s about what I’ve accomplished today, I must take into account that my dreams of yesterday made up this day that I’m living now which was just a tomorrow when I first dreamed.
I’ll take it that understanding my place in time is a choice that I can make or discard, but i actively seek to put myself mentally today, where I will actually physically be tomorrow when it becomes today.
So while it is true that tomorrow is a day that never comes, the actions I take today, in preparation for tomorrow, make tomorrow a day that I will always remember and enjoy just the way I envisioned it.
